About The Event
Curious about the algae in your creek? Come out to our algae training at the McKinley Fire Co. and Ethel Jordan Park. We will have a guest presentation by the algae experts from the Academy of Natural Sciences and head down to the Jenkintown Creek to observe it all first-hand.
We'll be learning about the different types of algae in our creeks and what they tell us about the creek's health! The goal of this training is for you to better understand your creek and to recognize when the creek may be in poor condition.
